Albany Industries To Add Up To 200 Jobs in Ripley, Mississippi
06/01/2010
"The acquisition of this facility was critical to our expansion needs for space and employment," said company President Richie McLarty. "We appreciate the assistance afforded by local and state officials in making this acquisition possible."
Albany purchased a 260,000-square-foot facility where it plans to begin production by the end of June. The Tippah County Board of Superviors, Tippah County Development Foundation, Agracel, TVA, Mississippi Business Finance Corporation, Mississippi Development Authority, and the Peoples Bank of Ripley contributed to the funding package. The facility will be used for manufacturing and customer pick-ups.
