Ireland-Based Linde Plans Brownsville, Texas, Operations

The investment will include the construction of an air-separation facility on 72-acres at the North Brownsville Industrial Park.
“Such projects are creating high-value add jobs and increased income across many sectors as well as boosting our local tax base,” said Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation Chief Executive Officer Gilberto Salinas. “But what I like the most is how this rising growth is helping us build a more competitive city which encourages more new investment. And that’s how we accelerate our economy. We’re excited about what’s ahead for Brownsville and remain actively engaged in efforts to support the region’s economic growth.”
The project is being supported by $1.3 million in job training incentives and grants.
Linde is an industrial gases and engineering company that provides gases, gas mixtures, technologies, and services. The company operates in various industries, including healthcare, chemicals and energy, manufacturing, and more.
