South Korea-Based Soulbrain RASA TX Plans Taylor, Texas, Production-Headquarters Operations

06/11/2026
South Korea-based semiconductor materials manufacturer Soulbrain RASA TX plans to establish operations in Taylor, Texas. The more than $120 million project is expected to create 20 jobs.

The company’s new U.S. manufacturing facility and headquarters will support an annual production capacity of 28,800 metric tons of high-purity phosphoric acid, a critical material used in semiconductor wafer cleaning and etching processes.

“We are grateful to Governor Abbott and the State of Texas for supporting Soulbrain through the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund,” said Jon Park, President of Soulbrain RASA TX LLC. “With this partnership, we will expand advanced materials capabilities in Texas, strengthen the domestic semiconductor ecosystem, and create high-value manufacturing and engineering opportunities for Texans.”

To support the project, Soulbrain RASA TX was awarded an $11.6 million grant from the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund.

“Texas remains a national leader in semiconductor manufacturing as we further build a strong and resilient semiconductor supply chain,” noted Governor Greg Abbott. “I congratulate Soulbrain for choosing Texas for their first U.S. production facility and their U.S. headquarters. The Taylor facility produces new high-skilled jobs and meets industry demand for specialized materials essential to the production of next-generation chips and electronic components produced in Texas.”

Soulbrain RASA TX is a subsidiary of South Korea-based Soulbrain Holdings, a manufacturer of advanced materials for the semiconductor industry. The company specializes in producing high-purity chemicals and materials used in semiconductor fabrication and electronic component manufacturing.
