Heritage-Crystal Clean Expands Oil Re-Refining in Indianapolis
07/13/2010
"We chose Indiana because it is centrally located with good infrastructure and supports the recycling of used oil," said Joe Chalhoub, president and CEO of Heritage-Crystal Clean.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has extended the company up to $550,000 in performance-based tax credits. The City of Indianapolis could offer another $100,000 for infrastructure improvements from the state's Industrial Development Grant Fund. The city has already offered Heritage-Crystal Clean $2.3 million in property tax abatements, and $150,000 for additional infrastructure assistance at the request of Develop Indy.
Heritage-Crystal Clean performs parts cleaning, containerized waste management, used oil collection, and vacuum truck services to the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
