eHealth Technologies Expands Operations In Henrietta, New York
07/18/2017
"The progress we have seen across upstate New York is undeniable and eHealth Technologies' continued investment in the region is yet another clear signal the Finger Lakes is moving forward," Governor Cuomo said. "eHealth has a very bright future in the region and we are proud to partner with them to ensure they continue to call New York home. By working to create jobs and strengthen our local economies, we are setting generations of New Yorkers up for success."
Ken Rosenfeld eHealth Global Technologies, Inc. CEO said, "We are excited to continue our growth right here in Upstate New York and I thank Governor Cuomo for his partnership and leadership. We have had great access to both technical and customer service talent, and expect that the region will continue to support the hiring needs we have to meet our aggressive expansion plans, including more clinically-oriented roles. We are amongst a number of healthcare technology companies growing in the region, which we believe is well positioned to support this industry sector."
To encourage eHealth Global Technologies to grow in the Greater Rochester area, Empire State Development is providing the company with up to $2 million in return for job creation and retention commitments over the next ten years.
Empire State Development President, CEO and Commissioner Howard Zemsky said, "The creation of up to 160 new jobs is very welcome news for the regional economy and adds to the momentum of the work being done through the Finger Lakes Forward economic development plan. Governor Cuomo's vision and commitment to Upstate revitalization efforts are truly paying off."
Senator Patrick M. Gallivan said, "The decision by eHealth Technologies to expand its current operations in Henrietta is a testament to the continued revitalization of the greater Rochester region. Working together, eHealth and New York State are investing in the future by protecting existing jobs and generating new opportunities for residents as we move the Finger Lakes forward."
Assemblyman Henry B. Bronson said, "I applaud Ken Rosenfeld and eHealth Technologies for their commitment to our region. Today's announcement by the company and Governor Cuomo shows that the Rochester area is in a strong educational and economic position to create jobs for the future."
Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo said, "I am proud that eHealth Technologies has chosen to expand right here in Monroe County. As our economy continues to surge and businesses continue to see the opportunities that exist in Monroe County, they can rest assured that we have the right business climate and the skilled workforce necessary to get the job done. Monroe County is open for business."
