Quantum Space Plans Tulsa, Oklahoma, Manufacturing Operations

05/20/2026
Space technology company Quantum Space plans to establish operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The $80 million project is expected to create 50 jobs.

The company’s new facility, located in the Spartan Building, will occupy between 25,000 and 40,000 square feet and will serve as its primary site for large propulsion tank manufacturing and precision spacecraft parts production. Operations are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.

“Quantum Space is building satellites to meet the needs of the Space Force’s Theory of Competitive Endurance. Sustained maneuver for Dynamic Space Operations is a key enabler of those needs,” said Jim Bridenstine, Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Space. “With its new and existing infrastructure, deep aerospace heritage, and skilled workforce, expanding our manufacturing to Oklahoma was an obvious choice.”

Quantum Space is developing spacecraft and in-space transportation systems for commercial, civil, and national security missions. The company’s operations include spacecraft design, engineering, and mission support services for orbital and deep-space applications.

“Years from now, when people tell the story of how Tulsa emerged as a major player in the future of the space economy, they will point to this moment,” noted Mike Neal, President and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber, which assisted in recruiting the company. “They will focus on this investment and recognize the vision and leadership of Quantum Space.”
