08/14/2014
“Tribridge is on a high-growth trajectory, and we are excited to recruit and develop experienced hires and new college graduates here in Tampa to meet the growing global demand for our technology services,” said Tony DiBenedetto, Tribridge Chairman/CEO. “We have been fortunate to receive tremendous support from the Tampa Bay community over the years, and we look forward to joining other local technology companies in not only building the next generation workforce but driving greater economic impact and innovation to the area.”
President/CEO of Enterprise Florida, Gray Swoope said, “Florida’s IT sector continues to grow and Tribridge’s expansion is an important addition to this industry. Florida’s resources, including a strong workforce, expansive infrastructure and strategic partnerships, have created one of the top business climates in the country. We’re excited to see the growth of Tribridge and I look forward to their continued success in the Sunshine State.”
“Tribridge is an outstanding example of the entrepreneurial success we strive to achieve in Hillsborough County,” said the Hon. Mark Sharpe, Chairman of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. “From a start-up company to one of the leading technology services providers in the country, Tribridge now employs hundreds of local residents, and we’re proud to support its continued growth and expansion in our community.”
“Tribridge could have made the decision to locate these jobs anywhere, but they chose to do it in Tampa,” said Mayor Bob Buckhorn, City of Tampa. “That speaks volumes about the size and strength of our IT workforce, and proves that we can compete for high-tech jobs against any city in the country.”
The company currently employs 600 nationwide, with more than 240 based in the Tampa Bay area. The project was made possible through strong partnerships between Enterprise Florida, the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.
“The information technology industry is highly competitive, and communities nationwide are working hard to attract companies like Tribridge,” said Allen Brinkman, Chair of the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation and Chairman/President/CEO of SunTrust Bank Tampa Bay. “This expansion sends a strong message about the support and resources our state and local partners are providing to help existing businesses grow and prosper in Hillsborough County.”
