SmartDrive Systems Relocates To Larger Corporate Offices-Operation Center In San Diego, California
09/11/2014
The facility offers a 35 percent increase in space, supporting the company's continued growth, and housing cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, operations, marketing and sales divisions, and the previously-offsite warehouse, which processes inventory and handles customer deliveries and customer on-boarding.
"Our business has grown significantly over the past three years and the additional space is a key component for ongoing expansion," said Steve Mitgang, CEO of SmartDrive. "We are thrilled to now have all of our local teams under the same roof, and be in an upgraded facility that enables collaboration and helps us best serve our customers."
SmartDrive delivers a video-based safety program that is focused on identifying unsafe driving and preventing it from happening in the future, company officials said. SmartDrive's open platform identifies driving risk, captures video, vehicle, audio and driving data and automatically offloads that video for review by driving experts. In addition to supporting ongoing growth, the new office space has enabled the company to launch a bring-your-dog-to-work initiative and other cultural enhancements for its employees.
