Express Motor Vehicle Administration Corporation Expands Its Indianapolis, Indiana, Operations Center
09/05/2013
The firm will invest nearly $700,000 to expand and equip its current facility to 20,000 square feet at 3960 Southeastern Ave. in Indianapolis. The expanded facility, which is expected to be operational by November, will allow Express MVA to provide expedited title, registrations and renewal processing for its growing market in Indiana.
Express MVA is the largest automotive title processor in the state, serving more than 1,000 auto dealers, auctioneers and corporations. "We see a long future in Indiana for Express MVA," said Doug Pillow, CFO of Express MVA. "Since we began operations, we've been pleased with the ease of doing business here. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide services above and beyond expectations for our clients, and we're happy that we can achieve that in Indiana."
"Because Indiana is a state that works, companies that could operate anywhere choose to operate here," said Eric Doden, President of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. "With our low-tax, pro-growth business environment, companies like Express MVA can focus on innovation and developing efficient methods to serve the needs of a growing client base."
As an incentive the Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Express Motor Vehicle Administration Corporation up to $115,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company's job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. In addition, the city of Indianapolis supports the project at the request Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.
"Express MVA's innovative solutions for the motor vehicle industry has helped both public and private entities increase efficiencies, provide better tracking, and reduce operating costs," said Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard. "Having inventive companies like Express MVA located in Indianapolis to provide support services to our businesses is key to providing a well rounded business climate. To see a company like this grow in our city is a good thing."
