10/23/2015
“We are looking forward to this new phase for our company,” Intermedix CEO Joel Portice said. “The city of Nashville and the state of Tennessee have welcomed Intermedix with open arms, and we are looking forward to growing here.”
The establishment of the innovation lab will focus on furthering the company’s analytics capabilities by leveraging big data technologies to provide statistical models and predictive analytics, state officials said. Intermedix will support clients by gaining insights into their data to improve quality of care, reduce costs and increase patient satisfaction.
“I want to thank Intermedix for their investment in Tennessee and for creating more than 100 jobs in Davidson County,” said Governor Bill Haslam. “When a company chooses to locate here in Tennessee it speaks volumes to the business-friendly environment we have to offer in our state and supports our goal of becoming the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs."
“It’s exciting to have such an innovative company choose to start new operations in Nashville,” Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd said. “As a healthcare technology company, Intermedix will benefit from the many advantages that exist in Tennessee, including our ability to support high-tech industries, while reinforcing our global reputation as a leader in the healthcare industry. I appreciate Intermedix for investing in Nashville and creating new jobs for our Middle Tennessee workforce.”
“We are pleased that Intermedix is coming to Nashville and will be adding high-quality jobs here,” Mayor Megan Barry said. “As a leader in healthcare business services, the company will be a great addition to the industry-leading, incredibly innovative health care community in Nashville. We appreciate Intermedix’s decision to invest here and take advantage of Nashville’s talented workforce, growing technology industry and business-friendly environment.”
