NearShore Technology Plans Atlanta, Georgia, Innovation Hub
01/09/2020
NearShore Technology will be moving its headquarters to the Coda building in Technology Square. The facility will be a showcase for technology and a hub for innovation where clients, Georgia Tech faculty, researchers, student interns, and NearShore leadership will work together to design and commercialize technology for immediate implementation in the real worlds of MedTech, FinTech and High-Tech.
“NearShore is thrilled to become a part of the vibrant Technology Square community, as are our many clients who understand the potential for developing exciting new technology as a result of the relationship with Georgia Tech,” said Yancy Riddle, COO. “For us, success is a three-legged stool with clients, Georgia Tech, and NearShore each being an equally important leg supporting that stool. As a two-time alumnus of Georgia Tech, I’ve continued to connect with the Institute throughout the last two decades and am delighted to now be in a position to fully explore opportunities to partner, as well as give back to the institution which provided the foundation for my success.”
“We are thrilled to see NearShore expanding their operations into Atlanta as they locate in Tech Square,” said GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson. “Atlanta’s thriving tech community and skilled talent in the field have enabled the growth of the software industry in this region, and I look forward to watching the continued success of great companies like NearShore in the days ahead. Congratulations to our local economic development partners for their work to make this happen.”
“NearShore Technology’s expansion is a welcome reminder of metro Atlanta’s reputation as the ideal place to grow innovation-based businesses,” said Hala Moddelmog, president and CEO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. “Also, with their collaboration with Georgia Tech, the company is demonstrating how our region’s universities and colleges are fueling a robust talent pipeline and spurring technology-driven ecosystem growth.”
“We’re pleased to welcome NearShore Technology, another fast-growing software and services company that has chosen Atlanta to drive innovation,” said Dr. Eloisa Klementich, president and CEO of Invest Atlanta. “At their new offices in Coda, NearShore Technology will have access to the highest density urban data center in the country and be able to draw top talent from Atlanta universities. The more than 30 new jobs they’re bringing to this innovation hub will help NearShore Technology continue to grow as a best-in-class company serving the needs of corporate tech leaders around the world.”
