Niron Magnetics Plans Sartell, Minnesota, Manufacturing Operations

Clean earth magnet producer Niron Magnetics plans to establish operations in Sartell, Minnesota. The project is expected to create 175 jobs.

The company will purchase 79 acres of public land from the city to construct a rare earth-free permanent magnets manufacturing facility.

Niron Magnetics develops rare earth-free permanent magnets which offer a cost-effective, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional rare earth-based magnets. Permanent magnets are critical components of green technologies such as electric vehicle motors, wind turbines, and energy-efficient consumer electronics.
