Associated MetalCast Expands Oxford, Alabama, Operations

Metal casting manufacturer Associated MetalCast plans to expand its operations in Oxford, Alabama. The $6.24 million project is expected to create 50 jobs.

The investment at the company’s existing facilities will include equipment and technology upgrades to support precision metal casting, machining, and finishing operations.

“This expansion strengthens our ability to deliver greater value to our customers through increased capacity, improved efficiency, and enhanced capabilities, positioning Associated MetalCast for long-term success and competitiveness,” said Associated MetalCast President and CEO Devon Bell. “We sincerely appreciate the long-term partnership and support of the City of Oxford, the Calhoun County EDC, and the State of Alabama.”

To support the project, Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) will provide workforce training services as the company expands.

“Associated MetalCast is exactly the kind of company Alabama wants to grow, innovative, technically advanced and deeply committed to quality,” noted Ellen McNair, Secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce. “This expansion is a testament to the strength of our manufacturing workforce and the competitive business environment we’ve built in this state.”

Associated MetalCast produces ferrous and non-ferrous cast components for industries including waterworks, automotive, heavy truck, and industrial equipment.
