04/19/2026
The investment will include the acquisition and renovation of a shuttered manufacturing facility at 100 Industrial Park Road to support the production of wood components.
“When we received the news that our neighboring business was shutting down and laying off employees, our immediate thought was how we could help,” said Paul D. John, President and CEO of John Brothers Holdings. “We’re excited to bring jobs back to the community and build a long-term investment that supports local manufacturing.”
To support the project, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is providing $450,000 in funding, including a $250,000 Pennsylvania First grant and a $200,000 WEDnetPA grant for workforce training, both tied to job creation and investment.
“Today’s announcement reinforces that Pennsylvania is making strategic investments that deliver real results for our communities and our workforce,” noted Rick Siger, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. “This project will create new jobs, retain existing positions, and bring new life to a previously shuttered facility.”
John Brothers Holdings manufactures wood products and components for residential and commercial applications. The company’s services include sourcing, processing, and fabrication of wood materials into finished and semi-finished components.
“The commitment to our region from companies like John Brothers Holdings is inspiring,” added Jennifer Wakeman, Executive Director of DRIVE. “Their investment brings jobs and opportunity to our communities, and we are proud to support their growth.”
