Creekstone Energy Plans Millard County, Utah, Data Center Operations
04/21/2026
The investment will include the construction of a large-scale power and AI data center campus designed to integrate on-site natural gas generation, utility-scale solar energy, and advanced data processing facilities.
“Delta and Millard County have long been central to Utah’s energy economy, and that history is a big part of why this location is right for a project of this scale,” said Ray Conley, President and CEO of Creekstone Energy. “This project reflects a strong partnership with local and state leadership, and we are committed to being a long-term contributor to the community.”
To support the project, the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity awarded a post-performance tax reduction through the Rural Economic Development Tax Increment Financing program, tied to job creation and long-term capital investment.
“This project highlights Utah’s innovative economy and our commitment to shared growth across the state,” noted Jefferson Moss, Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. “Creekstone Energy will bring significant investment and high-paying jobs to Millard County while strengthening infrastructure for the energy and technology sectors.”
Creekstone Energy develops large-scale energy and data infrastructure projects designed to support artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and advanced industrial applications.
“EDCUtah is proud to support companies that are bringing new value and long-term opportunity to rural communities,” added Ryan Starks, Executive Director of EDCUtah. “This project represents a forward-thinking approach to critical infrastructure and economic development.”
