Prime Inc. Plans Spalding County, Georgia, Operations

The company’s new Southeastern regional hub will be located at High Falls 16 Business Center and feature driver training and development facilities, equipment maintenance operations, and additional services including used equipment sales and tire recycling.

Assistant Director of Statewide Projects Elizabeth McLean represented the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Global Commerce team on the project in partnership with the Griffin-Spalding Development Authority, Metro Atlanta Chamber, and Georgia EMC.
“Prime’s decision to locate here underscores Georgia’s role as a logistics leader with direct access to markets across the country,” noted Pat Wilson, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development. “This new campus will strengthen a critical industry that supports communities statewide.”
Prime Inc. operates a fleet supporting refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and intermodal shipping across North America. The company’s operations include freight transportation, logistics coordination, and driver management services.
“Prime’s decision to establish a Southeastern hub in Spalding County marks an exciting step forward for the region,” added Katie Kirkpatrick, President and CEO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. “This investment will strengthen the logistics industry and create new opportunities for growth across the metro area.”
