Stella-Jones Corporation Expands Lincoln County, Tennessee, Operations

05/02/2026
Infrastructure products manufacturer Stella-Jones Corporation plans to establish operations in Fayetteville, Tennessee. The $45 million project is expected to create nearly 230 jobs in Lincoln County.

The investment will include the construction of a new steel lattice tower manufacturing facility. Production is scheduled to begin by the end of 2027.

“We are truly pleased to announce Fayetteville as the home of our first U.S.-based steel structure manufacturing facility,” said Eric Vachon, President and CEO of Stella-Jones. “We look forward to building on our relationship with Tennessee and supporting our customers across the country.”

Stella-Jones Corporation is a manufacturer of pressure-treated wood products used in infrastructure and industrial applications, producing railway ties, utility poles, and industrial lumber for customers. The company’s operations include wood sourcing, treatment, and distribution for transportation and utility markets.

“Companies always have a choice in where they locate, and we’re thrilled Stella-Jones is furthering its commitment to Tennessee,” noted Stuart C. McWhorter, Deputy Governor and Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD). “This project reflects the strength of our business climate and workforce.”

“We are excited to welcome Stella-Jones to Lincoln County,” added Heidi Smith, Vice President of Economic Development at TVA. “This investment will create new job opportunities and support continued economic growth in the region.”
