Morganton Pressure Vessels To Locate Manufacturing Center In Bay Minette, Alabama

Morganton Pressure Vessels, a compressed-air system manufacturer and North American subsidiary of Italy-based Baglioni Group SPA, will establish a new manufacturing facility in Bay Minette, Alabama. The firm plans to hire an expected 70 associates when the plant is at full production. The company will invest an initial $1.5 million in the new Bay Minette facility, located on the former Citation Aluminum site.

“Our new Bay Minette facility is ideal logistically. The area helps support our standards in quality and competitiveness, and the proximity to the market is a main point for our business success,” said Franco Tartaglino, President/CEO of Baglioni Group SPA. “Bay Minette is a key location for at least three of our divisions, and is close to SPV and petrochemical industry customers, as well to main sea ports.”

Baglioni Group is active in the production of four major product divisions, including vessels, special pressure equipment, cryogenics, and oil and gas. Its products are certified to meet all pressure-containing vessel regulatory standards, both domestic and international, Baldwin County Economic Development said. The new Morganton Pressure Vessels Bay Minette facility will produce standard and customized pressure vessels that will serve North American consumers in the compressed air and oil and gas industries.
