Kimberly-Clark Expands Mobile, Alabama, Manufacturing Operations

Multinational consumer goods and personal care corporation Kimberly-Clark plans to expand its manufacturing operations in Mobile, Alabama. The $130 million project is expected to create 29 jobs.

The investment will include a new hygiene production line which is scheduled to begin operations by the third quarter of 2027.

“This expansion represents a strategic investment in Kimberly-Clark’s future and underscores our commitment to solving unmet consumer needs through innovation”, said Tamera Fenske, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Kimberly-Clark. “Our Mobile facility exemplifies manufacturing excellence, powered by a team whose skill, dedication and passion deliver the essential products our consumers count on every day”.

Kimberly-Clark produces and markets a range of personal care, family care, and professional care products. The company is known for brands like Huggies, Kleenex, Scott, Kotex, and others.
