“Russell Cellular is dedicated to continuing to base our organization in the greater Springfield area,” said Jeff Russell, CEO & Owner. “Our roots are in this region, with nearly 25 years of conducting business in the local community. We are excited about this evolution for our company, and we appreciate the partnerships that are helping us grow to the next level.”
“Taking care of our existing businesses is essential to the continued growth of our state,” said Governor Mike Parson. “It’s great to see a Missouri company like Russell Cellular add 135 new jobs and continuing to grow, invest, and expand their headquarters in Battlefield.”
Russell Cellular has experienced significant growth in recent years, operating more than 400 stores across 30 states and employing more than 1,700 people, due to its role as one of the nation's largest Verizon Authorized retailers, according to Missouri Partnership.
