Japan-Based Nitto Plans Frankfort, Kentucky, Operations

The new production facility will be located at 120 Fortune Drive in Franklin County’s Industrial Park 3. Operations are scheduled to begin in Spring 2025.
“Nitto is excited to put down roots in the capital city and to welcome our team to the area in 2025,” said Yukihiro Horikawa, president of Nitto Inc. “The access to our customers is unparalleled in the Bluegrass region. We are enthusiastic about the community and excited to invest in Frankfort.”
Nitto Denko Group offers products including optical films for liquid crystal displays, automotive materials and parts, reverse osmosis membranes for seawater desalination, transdermal drug delivery patches, and more. The company's primary industries include aerospace; electronics; healthcare; automotive; housing/construction; environment; general industry.
