C. J. Foods Opens Operations in Kansas City, Kansas
10/31/2017
“After we reviewed data on both KC and Omaha, it was determined that KC has a greater ability to attract the type of talent that we need as we continue our explosive growth in the coming years,” said Tod Morgan, President & CEO of C. J. Foods. “It offered excellent schools, entertainment, housing and the city’s growth in the downtown area has helped make it a more attractive city in which to relocate.”
KCADC was proud to work with a number of regional partners in attracting C. J. Foods to the region including the State of Kansas, Copaken Brooks, KCP&L, RSM and Covenant Consulting.
“C. J. Foods’ expansion is the perfect addition to the region which is home to the KC Animal Health Corridor,” said Tim Cowden, President & CEO, Kansas City Area Development Council. “Kansas City is the best place for this company to plant roots and recruit high level talent.”
