Dorman Products Investing $9.3M in Warsaw, Kentucky

10/08/2010
Auto supplier Dorman Products will invest nearly $9.3 million to expand a distribution center in Warsaw, Kentucky, by 177,800 square feet. The company will also add 80 full-time jobs.

"We are excited about the opportunity this expansion provides us to more effectively serve the needs of our customers in the automotive aftermarket and to grow as part of the Warsaw community. We continue to invest in the development and distribution of new products for our customers, and the expansion of our Warsaw Distribution Center directly supports this objective," said Steven Berman, Dorman president and chief operating officer.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved Dorman for up to $1.6 million in tax benefits through the Kentucky Business Investment program. Construction will begin this month and be completed by April 2011.
