Apex Homes Of PA To Expand Its Middleburg, Pennsylvania, Operations Center

11/18/2014
Apex Homes of PA, a custom modular home manufacturer, will invest more than $2.6 million to expand and commit to creating at least 60 new jobs over the next three years in Middleburg, Pennsylvania. The company purchased a 166,000-square-foot facility at its current location in Snyder County.

As an incentive, the company received a funding proposal from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development that includes $180,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits.

“We are excited for the opportunity to give our company and employees a new beginning,” said Lynn Kuhns, President, Apex Homes of PA, LLC. “We have a tremendous team of employees who take great pride in our products, and it’s this personal commitment to building the industry’s best homes that will move our company forward. Apex has an outstanding reputation in the industry for our flexibility and customization abilities. The ongoing support of our employees, strong builder network and vendors will enable us to continuously improve and grow in the years to come while also bringing new jobs to the community. We greatly appreciate the efforts from everyone involved in helping us achieve our goals.”

“I am pleased that Apex Homes has decided to expand in Pennsylvania where the company has operated for more than 20 years,” Governor Tom Corbett said. The project was coordinated by the Governor’s Action Team, the SEDA-COG and the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce.
