11/25/2014
The 113-year old company has entered into a lease of a 17,500-square-foot office space at The Wharf at Rivertown office complex in the City of Chester. The Company plans to invest more than $1.12 million at the new site and has also pledged to create at least 98 new jobs over the next three years. As an incentive the company received a funding proposal from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development including $294,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits.
“We’re thrilled to take this next step in our businesses’ evolution and diversification,” said Rick Domyslawski, Executive Vice President of Engineering at Day & Zimmermann. “Our new location will enable us to not only expand our workforce by tapping into the southeastern Pennsylvania professional talent, but will position us to better serve our customers now and for years to come.”
“Our partnership with Day & Zimmermann to bring 98 new jobs to The Wharf at Rivertown office complex is another major redevelopment initiative for the City of Chester,” Governor Tom Corbett said. “The transformation of the waterfront area continues to accelerate investment and job creation providing a positive impact for the people of this community.”
