Pactiv Plans $4.5 Million Investment At Its Columbus, Ohio, Manufacturing Plant

Pactiv, LLC, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of food packaging and foodservice products, plans a $4.5 million investment in their facility on Westbelt Drive in Columbus, Ohio. The investment will be used to add at least two new production lines and will bring 65 manufacturing jobs to the Columbus Region.

“We’re committed to innovation and growth that meets our customers’ needs,” said Pactiv President/CEO, John McGrath. “Our success in Columbus has given us the confidence to keep growing here.”

Operating costs, proximity to market and available capacity were key factors in the company’s decision to expand in Columbus. Several types of jobs will be added, including machine operators, foremen/leads, material handlers, clerks, mechanics and maintenance personnel as well as high-level management positions, according to Columbus 2020.
