MME Group Expands Its Maplewood, Minnesota, Production Center
12/08/2016
MME’s new space will house a combination of molding machines, materials staging, and assembly increasing efficiency and turn-around time. The expansion will help take projects of small to large scale, from any industry and of any complexity from ideation to completion. The plant provides additional plastic injection production molding capacity and flexible state of the art manufacturing assembly.
When the plant opened Bob Archambault, MME group’s President said, “The MME group Maplewood plant is operating three shifts a day. It also produces fully assembled products very efficiently. The facility runs by employing LEAN MFG PRINCIPLES. It’s highly organized, clean, and aides in offering KANBAN and other inventory services. The additional production and assembly space is a real benefit to our clients because we can provide customized manufacturing solutions. Plus, the additional square footage allows us to ramp up new projects quickly.”
“Our concept to completion approach has proven a valued element to the marketplace. By listening to our customers over the years, we have established an unmet need in our industry,” said Brian Bussmann, Vice President of MME Group said recently. “Not only is our value in the business model, but it’s also the commitment to making sure every detail is analyzed; that is what sets us apart from our competition.”
The contract manufacturing industry continues to evolve and MME is a leader in that evolution. Beyond the addition of the new space, the company continues to add new equipment, technology and qualified staff to aid in their commitment to be vertically integrated, company officials said. Having the resources and capabilities to output products in a productive, cost-effective manor has escalated the success of MME group. Customers find immense comfort in the fact that they are aligned with one of the best contract manufacturers in the industry.
