Progressive Pipe Fabricators Plans Kingman, Arizona, Pipe Manufacturing Plant
03/18/2021
The company will fabricate and deliver over 20,000 individual sprinkler pipes per week from its new manufacturing plant on Historic Route 66 in Mohave County.
“By expanding our fabrication capabilities throughout the United States, our new shop will now serve a much larger geographic area,” said Shambaugh & Sons COO, National Fire Protection, Rob Vincent. “What’s even more exciting is that while we’re expanding our reach, we’re simultaneously bolstering our sustainability efforts by reducing fuel consumption and improving speed to market.”
The Kingman facility is under construction and slated to open in the fall.
"Shambaugh's selection of Kingman reflects the quality of talent in the region and its competitiveness for high-value industries like manufacturing," said Sandra Watson, Arizona Commerce Authority President and CEO. "This significant investment is excellent news, not just for Kingman, but all of Mohave County. We congratulate Shambaugh on its continued growth and thank the company for its commitment to Arizona.”
“It’s wonderful that 60 new jobs will become available. Companies are becoming more aware of what our county offers and we’re truly excited by the arrival of Progressive Pipe Fabricators, a Shambaugh & Sons division,” added Mohave County Economic Development Director Tami Ursenbach.
