NABAS Group Establishes Manufacturing Headquarters In Charleston, South Carolina
04/12/2016
NebuPure is a privately held company based in Charleston, South Carolina. The company's proprietary dry-fog cleansing technology is a proven, eco-friendly and cost-effective way to remediate mold and create pathogen-free public environments including schools, hospitals, hotels and agriculture facilities.
Since 2012, NABAS technology has been in use across Asia for algae removal, wastewater treatment, industrial water sterilization and other applications where ultraclean water is critical. NABAS technology delivers air, oxygen or ozone into bodies of water with more than 90 percent absorption rate, increasing oxygen levels, enhancing water quality, disinfecting and isolating impurities naturally, without chemicals.
"Today marks our formal establishment in U.S. and global markets," said Ben Lee, CEO of NGI. "We chose Charleston for our manufacturing site after careful consideration. The ability to co-locate with a U.S. company like NebuClear – committed to and offering a complementary product line dedicated to environmental restoration and remediation – was a key factor."
Robert Besal, President of NebuClear, said, "We're proud to be associated with a company like NGI whose chemical-free technology helps maintain aquatic ecosystems. Based in a coastal community, we fully understand the value of clean air and water, and our full product line is focused on improving their quality."
Several companies and municipal organizations involved in feed water, water/wastewater treatment and lake and pond management have already expressed interest in NebuClear's NABAS product line to improve their water quality and remediate water issues.
NebuPure, a sister company to NebuClear, provides natural, chemical-free technologies that complement NebuClear. NebuPure's proprietary, dry-fog cleansing technology is an eco-friendly and cost-effective way to remediate mold and create a near pathogen-free environment in the air and on surfaces in public areas.
According to company officials, NGI employs eight people in Charleston and expects to hire up to 25 additional technical-grade workers by year's end. NebuClear currently has six full-time employees here with sales representatives in Charlotte and Washington, D.C.
Both NGI and NebuPure technologies will be highlighted at the USA pavilion at Hannover Messe industrial technology trade fair in Hannover, Germany. The companies' participation at Hannover Messe was supported by the South Carolina office of the U.S. Commercial Service of the Department of Commerce, and the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of International Strategy and Trade, who provided financial assistance through the South Carolina Export Incentives Program and Export Training Programs.
"We're excited to demonstrate NebuClear and NebuPure technologies for national and international audiences alongside other South Carolina and Southeast regional exhibitors," said Besal, "It showcases what our region has to offer on a world stage."
