Arconic Relocates Headquarters to Fairfax County, Virginia

Arconic Inc., a global technology, engineering and advanced manufacturing leader, will relocate its global headquarters from New York City to Fairfax County, Virginia. The move will bring approximately 50 new jobs to the community.

“We are pleased to establish Arconic’s global headquarters in Fairfax County, Virginia, an area that is home to several aerospace and defense customers, a world-class talent base, and which offers a favorable quality of life for employees and a high level of connectivity to our key locations,” said Arconic CEO Chip Blankenship. “We are grateful to Governor Northam, Secretary Ball, the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority for their support.”

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority to secure the project for Virginia. Governor Northam approved a $750,000 grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund to assist the County with the project.

With multiple Arconic operations already based in Virginia, we look forward to further strengthening our important corporate partnership with this global Fortune 500 company.”
