Carlisle Construction Materials Invests $40 Million To Add Production At Its Carlisle, Pennsylvania Plant

Carlisle Construction Materials is part of Carlisle Companies, a diversified global manufacturing company serving the construction materials, commercial roofing, specialty tire and wheel, power transmission, heavy-duty brake and friction, foodservice, aerospace, and test and measurement industries.
"We would like to thank the governor's administration for their support of Carlisle Construction Materials. In addition to adding jobs to the local economy, the new TPO manufacturing line will provide our company with important growth opportunities," John Altmeyer, President and CEO of Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated said.
"Supporting Pennsylvania business and giving them the tools they need to succeed in creating new job opportunities is a priority of my administration," Gov. Tom Corbett said. "Today's announcement exemplifies what happens when business and government work together - 50 new, high-paying manufacturing jobs to this region."
As an incentive the company received a funding offer from the Department of Community and Economic Development which included; a $100,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant, $100,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits and $22,500 Guaranteed Free Training grant which will be used for skills training for both new and incumbent employees.
"We are excited CCM is not only staying in Cumberland County but that they are expanding and creating new jobs. They have been a major employer in the region for quite some time and with this expansion they have proven their commitment to their employees and this community. This was truly a collaborative effort from the state, county and local levels to make this happen and we look forward to a long-standing relationship with CCM," Jonathan Bowser , Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation's Director of Economic Development said."
