Targeted Metrics Invests $5.8 Million To Establish Headquarters-Operations Center In Kansas City, Missouri

06/30/2014
Targeted Metrics, an information and services company, selected Kansas City, Missouri, as the location for its new headquarters and sales operations center. The company’s expansion project includes a $5.8 million capital investment and the creation of up to 535 new jobs over the next two years.

The company will initially lease 15,000 sq. ft. at 1504 NW Vivion Road. Over the next two years, Targeted Metrics plans to expand to 60,000 sq. ft. and hire 100 percent of its employees in Kansas City, according to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

Targeted Metrics serves a diversified global client base and provides a broad range of products and services including recruiting, training, and managing sales teams that act as either part of its client’s sales infrastructure or as the entire sales engine.

“We were impressed with Kansas City from day one of our location search. The Kansas City market offers us a tremendous growth opportunity plus access to an existing available skilled workforce that values high productivity,” said Mike McGuire, Director of Targeted Metrics.

“More and more companies looking for a place to grow are finding that Missouri communities have all the resources to make them feel right at home,” said Mike Downing, Director of the Department of Economic Development. “Kansas City’s accomplished talent pool, central location, and thriving business environment make for a perfect destination for companies like Targeted Metrics.”

To assist Targeted Metrics with its expansion to Kansas City, the Missouri Department of Economic Development has offered a strategic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria. The Missouri Partnership, the Kansas City Area Development Council, the Clay County Economic Development Alliance, and the City of Kansas City also partnered with Targeted Metrics to help make its expansion possible.
