07/02/2024
The approximately 500,000-square-foot campus, located within one mile of the company’s existing facility, will accommodate Real Trucks’s custom fiberglass mold operations and aluminum truck caps manufacturing, as well as transportation and shipping streamlining operations and efficiencies.
“The expansion of our operations to the Massillon campus affords RealTruck the opportunity to not only deliver excellence in manufacturing but expand output to meet the growing demand for our industry-leading products,” said Greg Kerr, Vice President of Plant Operations at RealTruck. “With this move, we are retaining current employees and aggressively hiring new employees at our Massillon campus.”
The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credits.
“Given Ohio’s strong presence in the automotive industry, and Northeast Ohio’s robust automotive talent and education offerings, it is an ideal location for RealTruck to grow their business,” noted Team NEO Chief Executive Officer Bill Koehler. “Along with our local partners, ODOD, and JobsOhio we look forward to supporting and enhancing the company’s ongoing success.”
RealTruck’s product portfolio, which includes the Husky Liners total vehicle protection brand, boasts over 850 patents and pending applications.
“We are delighted that RealTruck has chosen to create more than 100 new jobs in Stark County,” added Stark Economic Development Board President Ray Hexamer, “This investment is a testament to RealTruck’s dedication to fostering growth and prosperity in our community.”
