Communications Electronics Systems Expands Operations in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland
07/25/2018
“Maryland has always been our home so we’re thrilled to be expanding here,” said CES President Tom Steg. “We’re already at eight employees in the new office and expect to continue growing so we can enhance our engineering capability to deliver great services and products to all our customers. This service commitment is the foundation principle that differentiates us from our competitors. It’s exciting to have referral customers calling us.”
As an LEDincentive the company is eligible for Maryland’s Job Creation Tax Credit. CES was launched in 2017 as an expansion of the Maryland-based Communication Electronics, Inc., a 42 year-old communications company that is the largest Motorola partner/dealer on the east coast, with five offices and more than 150 employees that provide life safety and communications systems to a broad range of commercial business and government customers.
“Our administration is thrilled that Communications Electronic Systems has expanded and is adding new employees to our state’s workforce," said Governor Larry Hogan. “We strongly support Maryland’s world-class security industry with an assortment of tax credits and incentive programs that ensure these businesses have access to the resources they need to grow, thrive, and contribute to our state’s economy.”
“Many of Maryland’s private businesses and as well as our government and military partners depend on top-notch security to ensure their systems, as well as their customers, are protected,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Mike Gill. “That’s why the cutting-edge solutions and services provided by CES are a key resource for our state, and why Maryland’s talented workforce, strategic location and vibrant security sector are a great fit for CES.”
