The investment includes the addition of more than 5,000 square feet of space to the company’s existing facility.
“We’re proud to announce this significant new partnership between Orise Distribution and various regional stakeholders,” said Quentin Womack, CEO of Orise Distribution. “This expansion project is bringing together the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the St. Louis Development Corporation, Ameren, St. Louis community colleges and local political leaders. This collaboration marks a major step forward in strengthening the regional healthcare supply chain while driving new job creation and economic growth in St. Louis city.”
The project is being supported by the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation.
“DED is proud to support Orise Distribution as it expands and supports its community,” noted Michelle Hataway, Director of the Department of Economic Development. “This company’s ingenuity is creating new opportunities for Missourians to prosper in St. Louis.”
Orise Distribution specializes in the procurement, storage, and distribution of long-term medical equipment and supplies such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and mobility aids to various healthcare providers, institutions, and individual patients. The company is a vertically integrated operation that controls production from raw materials to final distribution.
“We’re excited to support Orise Distribution as they expand their operations in St. Louis,” added Tara Oglesby, Vice President, Energy Solutions and Business Development for Ameren Missouri. “This investment not only strengthens Missouri’s role in the healthcare supply chain but also reflects Ameren Missouri’s commitment to powering innovation and economic growth with reliable, affordable energy.”
“We're always gracious for businesses that choose to invest and expand in the City of St. Louis,” said Stephen Davis, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives at St. Louis Development Corporation. “We appreciate our state partners for helping to facilitate this expansion.”
