08/02/2018
The company’s headquarters occupies 63,000 square feet of building space on five acres in La Habra, California, and includes manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, along with R&D and analytical laboratory services and operational teams.
According to company officials, having manufacturing capabilities in both Northern and Southern California will allow Shepard Bros. to better serve its customers throughout the Western U.S. region.
“Having the Stockton facility fully operational further demonstrates the commitment of Shepard Bros. to its customers in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest,”said Ron Shepard, CEO of Shepard Bros.
“With manufacturing in both Northern and Southern California, we will be able to better serve our customers by reducing shipping costs and transit times and accommodate companies that require their suppliers to have manufacturing in more than one location for business continuity planning, he explained.
In July of 2015, officials said Shepard Bros. began warehousing and distribution from its state-of-the-art facility in Stockton. Its new manufacturing complex occupies over 30,000 square feet of area on 1.82 acres. This site was strategically chosen to provide customers in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest with reduced shipping times and lower freight costs, as well as a reduced carbon footprint for the products that Shepard Bros. provides, officials explained.
The company operates additional warehousing and distribution points located in Portland, Oregon and Idaho Falls, Idaho.
