MWI Veterinary Supply Selects Greensboro, North Carolina, For East Coast Distribution Center

MWI Veterinary Supply selected Greensboro, North Carolina, for its 225,000 square foot, $3.150 million, East Coast distribution center at 6105 Corporate Park Drive. Staffing for warehousing, distribution and transportation jobs will account for the majority of the 47 jobs created.

“The decision by MWI to bring a distribution operation here validates the quality of our infrastructure and workforce,” said Dan Lynch, President of Greensboro Partnership Economic Development. “We want to thank the company for their commitment to Greensboro and the City of Greensboro for supporting this recruitment effort.”

Greensboro City Council approved $42,049 in incentives which will be granted to the company after their investment has been made and jobs created.

The North Carolina Department of Commerce also offered support for this project in potential workforce recruitment, screening and training funds. The company has partnered with the Greensboro/High Point/Guilford Workforce Development Board in recruitment efforts.
