Germany-Based American Rheinmetall Vehicles Opens Sterling Heights, Michigan, North American Headquarters

The 46,669 square-foot-facility includes an extensive, state-of-the art digital engineering, prototyping and system integration lab. The location will bolster the company’s ongoing design and development work including for its next-generation infantry fighting vehicle the Lynx OMFV, and other programs supporting the U.S. Army’s highest vehicle modernization priorities.

American Rheinmetall Vehicles, LLC is a part of Rheinmetall's Vehicle Systems division and not only specializes in the development of combat vehicle platforms that provide next-generation products to the U.S. Department of Defense and Federal and State Law Enforcement agencies, but also brings the global group’s portfolio of vehicle systems to the U.S. market.
