PTMW Expands Topeka, Kansas, Manufacturing Operations
09/27/2024
“We’re proud to call the Capital City ‘home’ and are excited to expand our footprint here,” said Ashley Bettis, president of PTMW Inc. “GO Topeka and JEDO have been strong partners in the expansion process, and we’re grateful to have their support as we move forward with our buildout. PTMW has delivered world-class manufacturing and production from the heart of the Midwest for more than 40 years. We’re also a Women’s Business Enterprise recognized throughout North America, certified by KDOC and the national WBENC. These project investments and the growth they spur allow us to continue leading with excellence in the decades to come.”
To support the project Topeka and Shawnee County’s Joint Economic Development Organization board approved an agreement. Economic development funds of up to almost $1.6 million, dispersed over five years, are being offered to the business through JEDO to aid in the company’s growth.
“PTMW has been a collaborative partner in the community’s success over the years,” noted Molly Howey, president of GO Topeka. “The expansion they’re embarking on will no doubt make them an even bigger player in the area, and across our region. I’m confident the job creation and investments PTMW is generating will further enhance the company’s status as a peer example of success and innovation in the manufacturing space.”
PTMW, Inc. provides prefabricated metal enclosures for use in critical infrastructure systems including rail and transit, power delivery and generation, data center, and energy storage.
