Aluma-Form Plans Mocksville, North Carolina, Plastics Manufacturing Operations

Utility and communications components manufacturer Aluma-Form plans to establish operations in Mocksville, North Carolina. The $6.7 million project is expected to create more than 100 jobs in Davie County.

The investment will include the acquisition of a 130,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, located at 111 CPP Global Drive, that will produce engineered plastic components for the utility and electrical distribution industries. Production is scheduled to begin by the end of 2026.

“The Mocksville facility gives us the equipment, space, infrastructure, and access to skilled resources we need today, while also giving us room to grow,” said Aluma-Form Regional Operations Manager Rodney Keyes. “Just as important, we found a community where people work together to support business, workforce development, and long-term growth. It really felt like the right fit for Aluma-Form.”

To support the project Aluma-Form has been approved for NC Job Ready workforce funding to assist with recruitment, hiring, outreach and training activities. The company is also expected to benefit from manufacturing-related tax exemptions available under North Carolina law.

“Once again, an existing building has created an opportunity to bring new investment and jobs to Davie County,” noted Davie County Economic Development President Terry Bralley. “They are positioned to move quickly, with hiring already underway. I’m excited to see new life brought to this facility and to welcome Aluma-Form as a new corporate citizen creating opportunities for the people of Davie County.”

Aluma-Form is a manufacturer of products and components for electric utility transmission and distribution systems. The company specializes in the design and manufacturing of fiberglass and aluminum products, including brackets, crossarms, insulators, and other pole-line hardware used in electrical infrastructure.
