09/03/2024
Information technology company Provalus plans to establish operations in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. The project is expected to create up to 200 jobs.

"Expanding into Arkansas is a milestone moment for Provalus as we continue our mission to bring transformative opportunities to rural America,” said Mike Keogh, President of Provalus. “This new site will allow us to tap into the incredible talent that Arkansas has to offer, creating jobs that will drive both local and regional economic growth. We are committed to investing in the community and are excited to see how our presence here will foster innovation and development. Walnut Ridge is a perfect fit for Provalus, and we look forward to working with local leaders and residents while making a lasting, positive impact."

Provalus is an outsourcing organization dedicated to creating technology opportunities in areas where few traditionally exist. By leveraging a unique approach that includes creating talent in rural, veteran-heavy American communities, the company is generating a dedicated and superior workforce while fueling a new era of technology talent.

“Provalus’ announcement of 200 new technology jobs in Walnut Ridge is an exciting development and yet another big win for rural Arkansas,” noted Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC). “We welcome Provalus to Arkansas and congratulate the City of Walnut Ridge on this economic development win.”

"The Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority welcomes Provalus to Walnut Ridge,” added Graycen Bigger, executive director of the Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority. “Their commitment to developing technology talent in rural markets and revitalizing downtown communities makes them an ideal partner for Walnut Ridge. This exciting project would not be possible without the partnership with the City of Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, and Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin.”
