South Korea-Based Sebang Lithium Battery Plans Jeffersonville, Ohio, Manufacturing Operations

South Korea-based battery manufacturer Sebang Lithium Battery plans to establish operations in Jeffersonville, Ohio. The project is expected to create 443 jobs in Fayette County by 2029.

The company’s new facility will manufacture energy storage system modules and lithium-ion battery packs for the automotive and energy industries.

To support the project, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit at 2.003 percent.

Sebang Lithium Battery, a subsidiary of Sebang Global Battery, is a manufacturer of lithium-ion battery modules and packs for electric vehicles, commercial vehicles, and energy storage applications.
