Brunk Industries Expands Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, Operations

Metal forming company Brunk Industries plans to expand its operations in Freeport, Pennsylvania. The $31.7 million project is expected to create 64 jobs in Armstrong County.

The investment will include the construction of a new 20,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on 20 acres at the RIDC Armstrong Innovation Park.

“We’d like to thank the Shapiro Administration, Armstrong County and RIDC for their help with this project,” said Brunk Industries Vice President of Operations Scott Adams. “We chose to expand in Pennsylvania because of all the great things they have to offer – including the concentration of the tool and die industry in the area, and the quality of the workforce in the region. We look forward to being a mainstay in the Commonwealth for many years to come!”

To support the project, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) provided a funding proposal that includes a $4 million Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loan and a $160,000 WEDnetPA grant for workforce training.

This expansion builds on the region’s manufacturing expertise, supports a rural economy, and advances our Economic Development Strategy by ensuring Pennsylvania remains a premier destination for business growth.”

Brunk Industries is a contract manufacturer specializing in micro-precision and light-gauge metal stamping, custom tooling, and complex component assembly for the medical device, aerospace, automotive, and defense industries.
