OnDemand Specialty Vehicles Plans Jumpertown, Mississippi, Operations

01/19/2024
Emergency medical transportation solutions company OnDemand Specialty Vehicles plans to establish operations in Jumpertown, Mississippi. The $470,750 project is expected to create 17 jobs.

The company will lease and upgrade a facility which will serve as a dedicated production site, ensuring timely delivery of essential medical transportation units. Production is scheduled for this Fall.

“As a native of Prentiss County, Mississippi, and the community where I began my EMS career, I am excited to be able to expand our company presence in Jumpertown. The community has been welcoming and we are excited to locate OnDemand Specialty Vehicle production operations in Jumpertown, noted Bryan Gibson, Chief Executive Officer, Priority OnDemand.

The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX program.

“Each job created in our state has a ripple effect throughout the communities in which they are created. That is a primary reason every economic development win, such as OnDemand locating its EMS vehicle production operations in Jumpertown, is integral to Mississippi’s economic well-being. MDA works hard to maintain a supportive business climate so companies like OnDemand have access to the resources they need to thrive today and for generations to come, and we look forward to hopefully partnering with the company on future growth projects,” MDA Deputy Executive Director Laura Hipp noted.

OnDemand Specialty Vehicles operates as a subsidiary of Priority OnDemand, an EMS and medical transportation provider. The company specializes in delivering medical transportation solutions to municipalities, counties, hospitals and healthcare facilities.
