Revere Plastics Systems Expands Clyde, Ohio Operations

12/23/2025
Plastics manufacturer Revere Plastics Systems plans to expand its operations in Clyde, Ohio. The $111 million project is expected to create 378 jobs in Sandusky County.

The investment at the company’s existing facility will help support a commercial agreement with an energy storage and solutions provider to supply a component in its battery technology.

“This project opens the door for Revere to broaden its capabilities and establish a stronger foothold in the fast-expanding energy storage industry,” said Kevin Kernan, Chief Executive Officer, Revere Plastics Systems. “It allows us to demonstrate the depth of our full-service engineered solutions and the impact they can deliver in this high-growth sector.”

To support the project the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) approved a 1.463 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

“Advancements in battery technology are unlocking growth across the trillion-dollar artificial intelligence super sector, powering the energy, manufacturing, and data infrastructure that enable AI at scale. Revere has been important to the community in Sandusky County for many years, and this expansion will create 378 new jobs in Clyde while positioning the company to continue to adapt and thrive as demand for new technologies grows,” noted J.P. Nauseef, JobsOhio President and CEO.

Revere Plastics serves a variety of industries, including automotive, energy and appliances. The company currently operates seven manufacturing sites in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

“On behalf of the Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation, we would like to congratulate Revere Plastics Systems on this impactful project that will create a significant number of new jobs and investment into the City of Clyde and Sandusky County,” added Beth Hannam, Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation. “This project is a testament to the company’s commitment to fostering economic growth in our region.”
