SELEE Expands Henderson County, North Carolina, Operations
08/01/2024
The investment will include personal property improvements at the company’s existing facility.
“The Porvair Board of Directors recognizes SELEE’s Hendersonville location for its continued success and potential growth. Investing in an expansion of this facility will allow us to improve production and retain the over 110 employees here and we are excited to continue giving back to the community that gives so much to us,” said Watt Jackson, President of SELEE.
This project is being supported with an economic development assistance grant from Henderson County. These incentives provide financial assistance to companies expanding or relocating and are based on job creation and capital investment. Companies receive no money upfront, must meet established targets, and pay taxes before receiving any grant payment.
“While economic development traditionally gets the most attention when new companies choose to locate in our community, the growth of existing industry has proven to be the backbone of our strong manufacturing community. SELEE is one of over ten existing industries in our community recently choosing to grow here. We are excited about how this expansion bolsters our economy and reflects the resiliency of our community,” noted Will Buie, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development.
SELEE delivers solutions for filtration, melt treatment and transfer processes for molten metals of all types. The company provides products supporting the food & beverage, aerospace, and automotive industries.
