MiTek Industries Expands Chesterfield, Missouri, Production Campus
09/12/2016
The expansion is expected to create over 100 high-paying jobs as a result of its ongoing growth.
Tom Manenti, Chairman/CEO of MiTek said, “The cooperation on this project with Missouri DED and our local design and construction partners was terrific. This building has truly become an expression of who we are as a company. It is rewarding to see the heart of our People First culture expressed in this building in Chesterfield, Missouri, our corporate home.”
Headquartered in Chesterfield since 1991, the company employs 400 people in the state and 4500 worldwide. The new, expanded facility will house MiTek’s growing core business divisions and corporate services, including software development, engineering services, and the related administration and executive groups.
To assist many companies with their expansion plans, the Missouri DED offers strategic economic incentive packages that companies can receive if they meet strict job creation criteria.
“More and more growing companies are finding that the high-quality workforce and to the pro-business climate we have here in the Show-Me State are conducive to their growth and success,” said DED Director Mike Downing. “The state of Missouri is proud to congratulate MiTek on its expansion in Chesterfield.”
