The Marvin Companies Expands with Delray Beach, Florida, Subsidiary
01/03/2019
The Marvin Companies is a third- and fourth-generation, family-owned and operated business, headquartered in Warroad, Minnesota, with nearly 6,000 employees in 12 facilities across 10 cities throughout the United States and Canada.
In partnership with current SIW Windows & Doors ownership, The Marvin Companies is now the majority owner of the new SIW Solutions. SIW was founded in 2002 by Abe and Yida Lopez and has experienced significant growth. Today, the SIW team includes more than 170 employees in two manufacturing facilities in southern Florida.
"SIW has a proven track record of quality, design innovation and exceptional customer service which aligns well with our values and premier positioning in the marketplace," said Paul Marvin, CEO of The Marvin Companies. "The addition of SIW to our family of brands will expand our coastal window and door capabilities and enable us to provide a broader array of design solutions to our customers."
According to company officials, SIW Solutions will form a separate business unit within The Marvin Companies. There will be no changes made to the way SIW currently services its network of dealer partners and its retail customers. SIW's founding owners and its senior management team will partner with Marvin leadership to expand and enhance manufacturing operations, sales and support services, and product development.
"We are thrilled to join The Marvin Companies," said Abe Lopez, SIW Founder. "As a family owned and operated business, we feel fortunate to have aligned with a fourth-generation family-led business that shares our values and commitment to our employees, customers and communities."
