Hewlett Packard Enterprise Expands Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Operations

10/21/2026
Enterprise technology company Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) plans to expand its operations in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The $75 million project is expected to create 75 jobs.

The investment at the company’s existing campus will include increased testing, warehousing and manufacturing capabilities to support growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing technologies.

“Demand for AI and high-performance computing is growing rapidly around the world, and Chippewa Falls plays an important role in helping HPE deliver the technologies our customers rely on every day,” said HPE Executive Vice President and General Manager of Operations Mark Bakker. “We’re proud to continue investing in Wisconsin, building on our longstanding presence in the state, creating new opportunities, and strengthening our ability to support customers as they pursue innovation and growth.”

To support the project, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has authorized up to $5.1 million in performance-based Enterprise Zone tax credits.

“HPE is a true success story with deep Wisconsin roots,” noted WEDC Secretary and CEO John Miller. “WEDC has been instrumental in supporting HPE’s growth in Wisconsin, and we are excited to join with them as they open this new chapter.”

Hewlett Packard Enterprise specializes in enterprise computing, cloud infrastructure, networking and artificial intelligence technologies. The company provides servers, storage systems, high-performance computing platforms and related software and services for businesses, research institutions and government organizations.
