Allegient Invests $1.3 Million To Expand Carmel, Indiana, Headquarters
10/23/2015
Allegient will invest $1.3 million to expand its operations at 201 W. 103rd St., renovating and equipping unused office space in order to accommodate its growth. The company, which also operates an office in Chicago, offers services in business process improvement, project management, application development, CRM, collaboration, data and analytics and user interface design to customers in industries such as healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, financial services and insurance, education, retail and government.
“I believe our growth can be attributed to three key factors: our team’s dedication to exceptional client service, our ability to consistently deliver tangible results and our trusted advisor philosophy that has been key to developing long-term partnerships with numerous Fortune 500 clients,” said Gregg Gallant, President of Allegient. “Looking forward, our vision is to double in size in the next 3-5 years by leveraging the explosion in demand for services in the analytics and big data space."
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Allegient up to $1,025,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Carmel has approved additional incentives.
The company currently employs 167 full-time associates in Indiana and nearly 240 nationally. Allegient plans to begin hiring analysts, developers and architects with experience in Business Intelligence, JAVA, .NET, SharePoint and CRM immediately. The company will also hire a dozen new college graduates from Indiana-based colleges and universities to participate in Allegient’s New College Grad Training program.
“More Hoosiers are going to work than ever before because of the hard work and commitment from Indiana companies across the state,” said Governor Mike Pence. “Tech firms like Allegient are expanding and succeeding thanks to Indiana’s pro-growth business environment and the confidence that our top universities are training the next generation of professionals to fill new jobs.”
